My folks came down for the weekend and brought my nephew too! Caleb and Addi had a blast, kind of a non-stop ride for those two! One of the days we headed over to Bass Lake. Our family had gone to Bass Lake every summer since the year I was born. As we all grew older the trips to Bass Lake have been fewer. I think the last time we stayed was probably ten years ago. So it was a trip to see the changes that have occurred while we have been gone. The house my grandparents owned is now selling for a few million. The little cabins that sat on the shores have just about all been ripped down and mansions built in there place. My grandparents house wasn’t a small cabin but a pretty nice house, it is crazy to see how much money is up there now. The total feel that my family loved just doesn’t seem to be there anymore. Kinda sad, but things do change. Well we rented a boat for the afternoon and fished and played on the beach. Here are a few shots of the day.
